Basic
Registration Requirements
- Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate degree in
social services or health related field, which
includes 18 hours in specific core course content
areas
- 500 hours of practicum experience
- 2500 hours of supervised work experience
which includes 1000 hours within the 3 years
preceding application.
- Passing a national standardized competency
examination. The NCAC examination date
is Nov. 17, 2001 deadline for registration is
Sept. 30, 2001.

to apply
There is a $10.00 duplication fee for application
packets mailed to you. You may request these
packets through the Board Office in writing.
Please be specific which packet you are requesting
in your letter.

Renewal
information
- Renew
On-Line
You will be required to pay your renewal fee
by credit card. If you have any technical difficulties
please contact Kansas.gov at 1-800-452-6727.
Registrations are issued for a 2-year period,
and expire on the last day of the month. Renewal
notices are sent to the last address on file
with the Board, and are sent approximately 90
days prior to expiration of the registration.
Renewals will not be processed prior to 90 days
of the license expiration date. The notices
are a courtesy to registrants, but the responsibility
to renew on time remains with the registrant.
Renewal of registration require 30 hours of
Continuing Education within the 24 month period
of registration in order to renew, with 3 of
those hours being in Ethics
Original Application - $100.00
Examination - $100.00
Renewal fee - $100.00
Reinstatement - $200.00
Replacement Registration - $20.00
Billfold card replacement - $2.00
Verification of licensure/registration fee
is $5 per credential
Duplication - set up fee $5.00 plus $.25 per page.
